Message Who machined the plenum? Since there are several ways (how low to cut the seats, angling the seat, etc) to machine the plenum to fit the 95+ fuel rails, this may be a concern.

Also was any porting done to the heads? Any extrude honing? Did he observe the flow past the valves or just out of the lower plenum? How and where the fuel atomizes is sometimes important; for example, on high rpm race cars, fuel injection is actually designed to shoot directly into the combustion chamber rather than atomize ahead of the valves, because it would otherwise slow down the flow.

I spent the money and purchased the lower plenum and fuel rails just to research the fitment, and I merely brought up legitimate concerns about the design of the plenum. Keep in mind that Nissan had to re-cast the heads because the ports are different, it seems to be excessive if it was only necessary to change the lower plenum. I am concerned only that we are not fully aware of all the Nissan design parameters on this issue.

Also I just want to mention that not that many people have actually done the 740cc injector conversion. I personally only know of one that is running, and it is unknown as to how well it is running with this setup vs. the alternatives.

Lastly, I simply think there are better alternatives to this setup, the Nismo 555cc is adequate for 90% of the people here, and beyond that I think the Border 850cc setup is superior.
